When I began preparing for this presentation, I asked myself the question, “What technologies could I use to present this material online and how could those technologies reflect the UDL?” I wanted to keep both aspects in mind as I made my choices. UDL focuses on the ability of all learners to be able to access and learn from technology. I wanted my technology to be accessible to all.

As a result, I first chose to use prezi.com to build the overall presentation. Prezi allowed me to play the presentation in chunks instead of all at once. I could build three to five minute videos on each topic and then place them within my Prezi presentation. Viewing a presentation on Prezi allows individuals to scroll, zoom, and return to previous sections with little effort. In addition, Prezi allows the embedding of video content and hyperlinks without knowing code.

To record the videos, I used Camtasia in combination with PowerPoint. Camtasia allowed me to make screen casts of my presentations and then edit them as necessary. After each video presentation, I used an online quiz maker called Quibblo, Quibblo allows users to create and embed quizzes in any website. I was able to post links to those quizzes in my wiki and on my Prezi, which allowed viewers to immediately check for feedback after each presentation. Overall, I believe these are a good choice of materials to use for the presentation. The technology is highly interactive and easily manipulated.
